I Am Beautiful Family Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families through compassionate foster care placement, advocacy, and holistic family services. We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported, and that families thrive best when they are surrounded by a strong, informed village.

Based in Maryland and serving families across the DMV region, we recruit, train, and support foster parents while advocating for the best interests of children involved in the child welfare system. Our work is rooted in collaboration with child welfare agencies, schools, and community partners to ensure children are placed in nurturing environments that support their emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.

As part of our commitment to early intervention and prevention, I Am Beautiful Family Services partners with Prince George’s County Public Schools to support a short-term pilot program focused on student behavioral and social-emotional needs. This school-based pilot provides small-group support and classroom push-in services for a limited cohort of students over a 6–8 week period. The purpose of the pilot is to assess student needs, demonstrate program effectiveness, and inform future collaboration and service expansion.

Beyond placement and school-based support, we take a whole-child and whole-family approach. Our services include family advocacy, foster parent training and support, social-emotional learning support, and resource coordination. We understand that foster care and family support are not one-time services, but ongoing journeys that require trust, consistency, and compassion.
